At TWOCC, we know that trans and gender non-conforming people of color aren’t just surviving—we are building, dreaming, and leading. And we do it all without government support or major LGBT foundation dollars. Our work is fully fueled by community—people like you, showing up for us because you believe in what we’re building.

We are a grassroots movement led by trans people of color, committed to healing, housing, advocacy, and cultural resistance. Your donations directly support programs and people—not institutions—and we’re proud of that.

At the heart of our work is Dee Dee’s House, a trans-led transitional housing program created in loving memory of Dee Dee Pearson—a beloved trans woman whose life was taken by violence in 2011. Her legacy lives on in this space, which stands as both a refuge and a revolution.

Dee Dee’s House is more than shelter. It’s a space where trans people of color can exhale, feel safe, and begin to heal. Residents are welcomed with respect, not requirements. They have access to meals, hygiene supplies, peer support, and the chance to rest and rebuild in a space that truly sees them.

We don’t believe in charity. We believe in care.
And we believe housing is not a privilege—it’s a right.

Your support helps us do what systems have failed to do: keep our people housed, fed, and held with dignity. It covers rent, utilities, groceries, supplies, and staffing—without red tape, judgment, or delay.
